python-logbook software package provides logging system for Python that replaces the standard librarys module, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-logbook
python-logbook is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-logbook package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-logbook *
You will get with python-logbook package name, version, architecture and description in a table
